My Week

This week has passed by rather quickly and without incident. Over all it's been uneventful and I've not managed to do a lot other than my normal building duties along with making music and taking photographs.

My creative juices are flowing and it feels great to create new tracks and photos.

I've been eating more recently. I'm not sure if it's because I'm burning more calories at the gym or if I'm just enjoying food more these days. My weight is unchanged however so I guess no harm/no foul!!

Sol is supposed to come back to SF on the morrow. Hopefully he does because I am so looking forward to seeing him! Time will tell and I'm guessing I'll know by this time tomorrow evening!!

Not much else to report Ladies & Gents!! So I say good evening...

&

Until we next chat again..

Good night!!

Buddhist Thought of the Week

Is repetitive action virtuous action? If behaviour and conduct are merely repetitive processes then all human relationships actually cease. If I behave mechanically every day, - repeating a certain code of conduct which I have learnt, which I find profitable, or which is pleasant, repeating that over and over again, - my relationship with you ceases, completely - I have become a machine. - J. Krishnamurti

My Holiday & Weekend

My Thanksgiving holiday and weekend found me motoring from one Bay-Area location to another.

On Turkey Day, a good buddy took me out to the suburbs. I stuffed my face and celebrated the holiday with people I'd never met before but who never the less made me feel welcome and warm. It's interesting to me seeing other sides of our friends and this occasion was no different! Our relationship has always been X-rated but on this day, with his family and children around, we stayed firmly on a G rating. Thankfully, his family seemed to like me and the conversation, food and company made my Thanksgiving a happy one!! I tried to volunteer but the church I contacted had enough of those. My holiday almost saw me alone but thanks to Greg, I had a place to go!!

My camera has gotten some good work as of late..I love taking photo's. Some time soon I've got to buy a new and better camera. Christmas is soon so maybe Santa will help out with this!!!

I'm happy to say I met a sexy guy this weekend. We hung out yesterday and got to know each other a bit. The only problem is that he lives almost 5 hours away! We're hoping to hang out again this coming Friday and hopefully we do because thinking of him makes my heart beat faster.

I wish he were here now!!

Anyway, it's late and time for bed for Senor Burns.

Sol, if you're reading this; know I'm thinking of you tonight and cant wait to kiss/see you again!! I hope it's soon!

Everyone else, Ciao Main !

Two Years and Counting..

Yesterday marked my 2ND anniversary at my current residence.

It's been a fun ride thus far and one which I hope continues for the long foreseeable future.

The last two days I've been dealing with an upset tummy combined with frequent trips to the restroom. Today that aliment is a bit better but now I'm dealing with a head cold which seems to be turning into a sinus infection.

So, I've been resting and healing the last two days and dealing with being disappointed that Eric has grown very distant and cold.

That's life. A mixture of good and bad.

I'll be happier when the good out weighs the negative.

And the pain in my head ends.

Buddhist Thought of the Week: part 2

You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself,
and you will not find that person anywhere.

Buddhist Thought of the Week

Mindfulness is the aware, balanced acceptance of the present experience.
It isn't more complicated than that.
It is opening to or receiving the present moment, pleasant or unpleasant, just as it is,
without either clinging to it or rejecting it.

Photos..Once Again

I'm in love again...

Rarely do I rant about how good Apple products are but today I can't resist!!

I've just upgraded to the new operating system and this has helped me fall in love again with my computer!! Also, by doubling my RAM I've made my computer almost 4 times times faster than it was less than twenty-four hours ago.

Ah, what a good day it's been for me in computer land!

Hope you are as happy with the system running on the computer that shows you what I've been up to today!!

Ciao for now!!!

8:18 AM

The number on the clock reads 8:18 AM. That number is personally important to me. It is the number (or date) that I entered this reality.

Weird that I would pick this time to start this post. Not sure what it all means. It shouldn't surprise me however.

My head is still in the stars. This morning feels like a dream. I'm truly in some magical place.

These feelings are a result from spending time yesterday with someone who's magical and dreamy.

Eric must have put a spell on me. Is it magic? Is he? Am I? Are you?

E believes in spells, is also a lion, rides a skateboard, spends his days learning at institutions of higher learning's, makes impressive art and helps people have healthy and productive sex lives.

He turns me on but turned me out when he picked up my guitar and started to sing to me. I'm most turned on by him when I see his brain at work. And he is truly hottie!!

We had passionate and intense male bonding which honestly should have been filmed.

I guess the hormones we released are still floating around my apartment and that's why I feel this way.

It's been almost sixty minutes since I started this post and my eyes are beginning to cross from looking at the computer screen. That's my que to close this post and move on with my day.

And I'm still floating!!!!

Happy Veterans Day

Personally, I'm not a proponent of Military service. However, because of my friendship with men and women currently serving in Iraq and the US Army, I feel it's appropriate to stand up, applaud and honor the commitment and sacrifice they and others make everyday!

So....

Happy Veterans day to all the vets and future vets and I personally thank you!

Many here in the USA do not support the current administrations view towards warfare and our current engagements around the world.

I'm one of those people!! I desire something different and can't for 2008 when we will be hopefully voting in our first female Commander and Chief!!!

When that day arrives, I'll be thankful..

And Happy!!!

And Again...More Pics

Creative Tear

I've been on a creative tear the last few weeks. Photo's, music and digital art have flowed from these hands and mind like the water of a swift river.

This morning, I worked on a new track that took me a total of an hour to start and finish. That may be a new record for me!! It sure feels good to work like this because it makes me feel like an artistic factory.

Last night, I hung out with a cute Mo- Fo! Thanks Steven for the protein shake. Yummy!!

:-o Any who..

Tonight's Friday and I'm sitting here naked listening to my new track (SoundTitan) while typing out this post. There's a tub with hot water in it, waiting for me in my bathroom.

Now's the time to get naked and wet!!

Later My Peoples.

Peace Out!!!!!!

And yet again.. More photo's!

Buddhist thought for the week

The first step of the Eightfold Path is Right Views, which means Knowledge of the Four Noble Truths.

The Four Noble Truths (Pali: Cattāri ariyasaccāni, Sanskrit: Catvāri āryasatyāni, Chinese: Sìshèngdì, Thai: อริยสัจสี่, Ariyasaj Sii) are one of the most fundamental Buddhist teachings. They appear many times throughout the most ancient Buddhist texts, the Pali Canon. They are among the truths Gautama Buddha is said to have realized during his experience of enlightenment.[1]
Why the Buddha is said to have taught in this way is illuminated by the social context of the time in which he lived. The Buddha was a Śramaṇa, a wandering ascetic whose "aim was to discover the truth and attain happiness."[2] He is said to have achieved this aim while under a bodhi tree near the Ganges River; the Four Noble Truths are a formulation of his understanding of the nature of "suffering",[3] the fundamental cause of all suffering, the escape from suffering, and what effort a person can go to so that they themselves can "attain happiness."[2]
These truths are not expressed as a hypothesis or tentative idea, rather the Buddha says:
“ These Four Noble Truths, monks, are actual, unerring, not otherwise. Therefore, they are called noble truths.[4] ”
The Buddha says that he taught them...
“ ...because it is beneficial, it belongs to the fundamentals of the holy life, it leads to disenchantment, to dispassion, to cessation of suffering, to peace, to direct knowledge, to enlightenment, to Nirvana. That is why I have declared it.[5] ”
This teaching was the basis of the Buddha's first discourse after his enlightenment.[6] In early Buddhism this is the most advanced teaching in the Buddha's Gradual Training.
Mahayana Buddhism regards these as a preliminary teaching for people not ready for its own teachings.[7]
Strictly speaking, "truths" is a mistranslation; "realities" would be better: these are "things", not statements, in the original grammar.[8]

ufo

Check out the pic of a UFO landing on the high way I took on the way to San Jose this past weekend.

Well, thats what I think it looks like!!

Vote Baby Vote!!

Today is November 6Th and that means Americans everywhere have the right to exercise one of they're most important civic duties.

I encourage everyone to go to the polls and participate. We are lucky enough to live in country where we can be heard by our leaders and influence the course of they're actions.

Nothing will change if we don't all play our part.

And at the least you'll know that you took the time to express what you'd like to see happen in our country. So vote baby, vote.

Because it's important and no matter what you hear...

Your vote counts!!!

Thanks for the Fun Weekend/ Photos

I was away in San Jose, having tons of fun this past weekend. Thanks to my friends who put up with me and listened to my crazy thoughts, hopes and ideas!!

The humans I meet there were cool and I'm grateful and glad to have met each of you!! You boys are the best!!!!!

Erwin, you've been a great friend and I really appricate your energy and being. Thanks for hauling our ass's there and defending me with your "Sword of Truth"!! ;-)

These photos gives you a small but interesting view. However, it tells only a small part of what I've been up to.

I must say... I live a very active and interesting life!!!

One day, many written and filmed stories shall spring from my mind. A lot of them will directly relate to this time in my life. But for now these pic's will have to do!!

I Hope you enjoy them!!!

Peace
