Spontaneity is being present in the present. Spontaneity by-passes the processes of the conceptual (aspect of) mind. Re-integration with Nature, which we are, is the recovery of spontaneity. - Why Lazurus Laughed by Wei Wu Wei |

For Eight Months
The last eight months I've been homeless.
I've had to stay with friends. I've stayed in two hotels for three weeks each time. A homeless shelter was even home for three or four weeks this past August and September.
The last two months I've stayed on a friends couch at 15th and Noe Streets!!
Thanks Dan!!
But coming this Wednesday a new place is where I'll be calling home for the foreseeable future!
In other words:
For 8 months I've been homeless but I found out today that I am not any longer. Today I found a home to call my own!!
A place for my dog, dreams and to be...
Me!!

Does your mind wander when it wants to? Exercise discipline and control it, as a elephant keeper controls the elephant. - Buddha

Buddhist Thought
The notion that human life has greater value than any other form of life is both unjustifiable and arrogant. - Fingers Pointing Toward the Moon (Wei Wu Wu)

A message to haTers
Recent times have shown me a face I did not expect. Clearly have I seen your thoughts and feelings expressed. Do you not think it easy to peek?
You doubt me. It also seems that friendliness has given way to weariness. Worry not my friend because my best is yet to be complete. Controlling monotones have no hold on me. Word's will, could, never & wont defeat D.
Say what you say and do what you will. But ever consider a chill pill?
Take this public message thus created for those in Hate ,,I've always landed safe with little loss to my gait!
Trust and B sure this time will be the same as before.
All attacks are ````````````````````` and lacking..
In any after effect.

My Favorite Poem of all Time
*Invictus*
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
William Ernest Henley
1849–1903

Buddhist Thought
When we learn to deal directly with our complaints and difficulties, romanticized ideas about the spiritual path are no longer meaningful. We see that what is important is to take responsibility for ourselves, and to always be aware of our thoughts, feelings, and actions. - Tarthang Tulku
